Your opportunities as a student

We have a wide range of different areas and therefore many opportunities for you to get started. Whether you have a background in engineering, business, IT, logistics or law, our entry programmes give you exciting opportunities to gain practical experience.

You always have the opportunity to gain your first practical experience as part of an internship with us: Whether in our central functions, such as controlling or purchasing, in our engineering or digital departments - we have a wide range of opportunities for you.

  • You are at least in the 3rd semester of your studies or in the gap year between your Bachelor's and Master's degree
  • You are enthusiastic about the aviation industry and have at least 3 months to enrich your theoretical knowledge with exciting practical experience

It is also possible to gain valuable practical experience with us alongside your studies. As a working student, you will support our colleagues from the specialist departments in a wide variety of areas: From personnel development and logistics to the development of modern repair processes.

  • You are studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree and would like to gain exciting insights into the aviation industry on the side
  • In the best case, you have already gained your first touch points with Lufthansa Technik (e.g. through a previous internship)

Are you interested in successfully completing your studies with us? We will be happy to accompany you on the way to a successful landing. Regardless of whether you are writing your Bachelor's or Master's thesis - with us you have the opportunity to find an exciting question in a wide range of areas that you can deal with as part of your thesis.

  • You are studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree and would like to write a practice-oriented thesis
  • In the best case, you have already gained your first touch points with Lufthansa Technik (e.g. through a previous internship or working student activity) and already know an area that particularly interests you

After completing your first state examination in law, you can complete your elective or legal traineeship with us, particularly in the areas of employment law, contract law, foreign trade law and commercial law.

  • You have successfully passed your first state examination in law 
  • You would like to deepen your legal knowledge in one of the above-mentioned areas in the industry at the world's leading MRO provider
