Flight Data Recorder (FDR) analysis
The FDR parameter check (readout analysis) of the data recorded on the flight data recorder is recommended by ICAO and required twice a year till anually by various national aviation authorities to ensure, that data recorded on the FDR is useable e.g. for incident investigation. The check result is provided as an easy to understand report of the validated mandatory parameters according to aviation authority requirements.

Scope of Service - What's in
- Perform a mandatory parameter check of the transferred SSFDR data according to your selected airworthiness regulation
- Analysis performed will be based on the data of one recorded flight. Last recorded flight will be used unless otherwise requested
- The check result protocol will be provided via download from secured Lufthansa Technik cloud
- In case of findings a recommendation is provided in addition to the protocol
Scope of Service - prerequisites
The FDR raw data will be transferred to secured Lufthansa Technik cloud either by the airline personnel or by our component shop (if contracted). The standard processing time starts when the data is transmitted to Lufthansa Technik cloud. In case that a dedicated document is required to enable us to perform the contracted service, customer will provide this document (e.g. Application Requirement Document, Digital Flight Data Acquisition Card (DFDAC) Interface Control Document, Flight Data Recording Parameter Library etc.).
Scope of Service - exclusions
- Bench tests of the related part as well as any logistics are not covered, but can be offered on request
- Any maintenance action and/or required prerequisite to allow downloading the data of the FDR or the rectification of findings on both, the FDR and the aircraft, is not included
