First independent MRO-Provider

We are ready to support your LEAP engine operations, representing the next generation of aircraft engines. Having recently extended our capabilities, we now offer the full spectrum of MRO services, ranging from Mobile Engine Services to full performance restoration shop visits for your LEAP engine.*

In January 2022, we became the first independent MRO provider to obtain a CBSA license and the first partner to join the LEAP-1B overhaul network. Together with our experience and participation in the LEAP 1-A overhaul network, we are ready for these state-of-the-art engines. Our decades of experience, highly skilled mechanics and airline perspective enable us to offer customized services for all phases of your engine's lifecycle. Our tailored solutions and in-house repair capabilities guarantee outstanding quality with short turnaround times. We offer the widest range of services to optimize your total cost of ownership and to support your operation.

Our LEAP competence continues to grow

After intensive preparations and months of training for our engine mechanics on the new engine type, the goal has finally been achieved: Lufthansa Technik received the approval certificate from the German Federal Aviation Agency (LBA) for the CFM LEAP-1B, the engine powering the Boeing 737 MAX. This authorizes Engine Services to offer comprehensive technical support. Following the successful LBA audit, EASA and FAA certification will follow without further audits.
